Behind Buildie’s creation and growth are the founders Taneli Ristmeri and Petri Saarinen. Ristmeri brought his first-hand experience and knowledge of the construction industry to the company, whereas Saarinen brought his technical competence and views on software development. From day one, Buildie’s mission has been to improve the quality of construction, which is still the company’s primary mission and driving force.
The first official product version of Buildie was launched in early 2016, after which the company has grown with an increasing speed. This has not been a matter of luck; we have worked hard with strong goals. From the early days of the company, our sights have been set on growth an global markets. We still make things happen through our values, which are to remain fresh, innovative, laid-back and energetic. The product development of the Buildie application is performed in-house, as are our customer support services.
Buildie seeks growth and understands the skilled and motivated staff needed for it. Each team has their own employee promises that support a good employee and customer service experience. Our goal-oriented approach can also bee seen in the fact that Buildie will never develop a functionality that would be worse than that of a competitor. Additionally, in new markets, Buildie is aiming for the market leader position it has in Finland by offering the industry’s best field tool for infrastructure construction worksites.
